Leah Jordano-Kudalis

Work trade role: Digital Marketing & Host team member

What you love about Impact Hub: Exchanging ideas and learning from other members’ experiences, perspectives, and wisdom

Person I would want to meet: I’d like to meet successful female politicians at all levels of governance to understand better what motivated them to hold office, how they’ve navigated the challenging position of being female and running for political office in the face of subtle (and sometimes blatant) sexism, and what issues they feel like they can have the most positive social impact on.

Country I would want to visit again / why: I enjoy spending time in Amsterdam in July. The dance scene is fun, the transportation is healthy and easy, it’s the best chance for brilliant sunshine and almost-warmth, and I appreciate the joyful surprises of running into old friends and acquaintances from my time in grad school there.

Topic of the book you would write: For fun, I’d like to write a lightly fictional memoir in the form of a collection of short stories based on real adventures I’ve found myself in over the years, but with some small details changed, like names, so as not to violate anyone else’s privacy.
