I am an empathy-based marketing professional, who helps social entrepreneurs share their important work so that together we can start to solve the world’s biggest problems.
Through event planning and facilitation, community outreach, marketing, communications and fundraising, I am able to assist in building a supportive and engaged network.
I combine creativity with detail-oriented organization to share the important work being done in our community.
My career has centered on creating and facilitating the development of educational opportunities that solve substantial problems and assist students in creating options-rich futures. This focus has brought me to several frontiers of education across the K-12 and Higher Ed continuum – as a classroom teacher, an interactive and instructional designer, and the executive director of a small, teacher-developed online high school.
I excel at analyzing the disparate parts of a system to identify a problem’s root cause and its genuine solution – whether there is a cognitive barrier to understanding, an inefficient process, an issue of instructional design, or a simple miscommunication with an effect that has been amplified. I cast a wide intellectual net and continually seek out experiences that stretch me to learn and apply new skills and knowledge.
